She Beasts had the honour of being selected as the charity partner for last night’s Midlands Marketing Awards! Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who took part in our raffle, we raised an amazing £1,100! This will go directly towards funding a space for a woman to earn her Level 2 &amp; Level 3 Diploma in Gym Instruction and Personal Training, helping to create life-changing employment opportunities.&nbsp;

She Beasts was thrilled to collaborate once again with the service users at WAITS, delivering a 12-week program tailored to empower and uplift women on their trauma recovery journeys. This transformative program, designed to build confidence and foster healing, supported 30 incredible women. We’re excited to announce that a second cohort will begin in October 2024, and we look forward to continuing this impactful work!

The She Beasts team was thrilled to be part of Essence Youth's summer program, where we delivered a dynamic and fun movement session to a group of 21 young females.&nbsp;

Over a 4-week period, She Beasts had the pleasure of collaborating with the young females at Escape Arts for the second time. The program offered a mix of fun, dynamic movement activities, alongside expert guidance on mindset and nutrition, empowering participants in both body and mind.

Educational qualifications are provided by She Beasts through our impact programme.&nbsp; Read Terri's Story here&nbsp;In February 2021, Terri's journey with She Beasts began, sparked by the powerful concept of empowering allfemales, especially the impactful element that resonated deeply within her. Terri's story is one of remarkable transformation—physically, mentally, and financially. Battling through verbal,emotional, and mental abuse, she reached a breaking point when her GP warned her about the risks to herdaughter's well-being if things didn't change at home. Referred to organisations IRIS and Women’s Aid, Terrifound the crucial support she needed during this challenging phase of her life. Exiting the toxic relationship didn't mark the end of her struggles, as the daunting family court process loomedahead. However, Terri chose resilience. She invested in herself through counselling, volunteered for Women’sAid, and gave back to the very organisations that stood by her. Juggling the role of a devoted mother, Terri bravely navigates the challenges of managing diagnosedconditions such as BPD, PTSD, and navigating her neurodiversity, which was recently affirmed with anautism diagnosis. "The journey may seem unbelievable, but as of 2024, I've proudly been a She Beasts employee for over twoyears. By January 2024, I'll have completed my educational qualifications provided by She Beasts. Worthy iswhat we all are, even when we doubt it. Sometimes, all we need is a bit of help and support to realize our truepotential. These opportunities aren't handed to us; they're crafted. Being a positive example for my daughter isparamount, and this opportunity ensures a good, stable life for both of us independently—something of utmostimportance to me." Terri's journey embodies resilience, growth, and the transformative power of support.

Our project, "Empower through Exercise" (ETE), stems from the insights gained from our ongoing Domestic Sexual Violence (DSV) project, "A Space to Breathe." We've recognized that many women in our program were groomed into abusive relationships from a young age, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation as adults. To prevent this cycle, we emphasize awareness, education, and personal empowerment. ETE targets young women aged 14-19 through a holistic program of Movement, Mindset, and Nutrition coaching, supported by peer groups and therapy. By promoting healthy boundaries and self-esteem, we aim to break the cycle of DSV within families. Our services are promoted and referred to by schools, local authorities, and community organizations, reflecting our proactive approach to nurturing relationships and providing a safe space for individuals and families. Through ETE, we address the specific needs of those affected by DSV, exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. By collaborating with organizations like She Beasts CIC, we offer female-specific fitness classes and peer support groups facilitated by qualified therapists. Our goal is to empower participants, giving them a voice and the tools to navigate healthy relationships. We believe in creating inclusive environments that foster personal empowerment, ultimately shaping a brighter future for our community.
