Think Active had 8 spare phones and decided to donate them to Good Causes via Make Good Grow. 3 of them found a new home at GINA, providing vital support to victims of sexual violence &amp; abuse. 2 at New Hope Counselling, 2 at Omega Courses &amp; 1 at Stockingford Community Centre!

The Polish Centre, a long-standing beneficiary of Make Good Grow and 1 Mill Street, utilised our Passion Wagon for the day to collect three ambulances.

8 of our best ballers took to Leamington FC's pitch in support of two incredible Causes - The Brakes Community Foundation &amp; The Myton Hospices. The team came first (in most goals conceded) but we had a brilliant time, and raised money for a worthy Cause. The 1 Mill Street &amp; Make Good Grow team even came down to cheer our boys on!&nbsp;

The Polish Centre used our Passion Wagon to transport a family of refugees to London for the day, to celebrate a very special birthday. We were delighted to help out, and hope Afraa and Nedel had a brilliant time!

Miss Macaroon took our Passion Wagon to Cheltenham for the weekend to transport their products.&nbsp;Miss Macaroon is a CIC, and every penny is reinvested into their charity. Miss Macaroon’s MacsMAD (Macaroons that Make A Difference) training courses enable long-term unemployed young people to build their confidence and skills to become work ready.We were delighted to help such a brilliant Good Cause by offering the free usage of the PassionWagon.<div> </div>

Our 1MS members headed over to Helping Hands Soup Kitchen to run breakfast, lunch and dinner service for the vulnerable &amp; homeless of Leamington Spa.We prepped and served 3 meals across the day, and got to meet the brilliant volunteers and beneficiaries of Helping Hands. We also heard from Founder and CEO, Lianne Kirkman, about how Helping Hands runs. She said, "Today is all about a hand up, not a hand out." and explained that these free meals are often the first step of intervention in their journey to rehabilitating these individuals.&nbsp;Helping Hands has had a longstanding relationship with both 1 Mill Street and Make Good Grow, hosting a variety of events with them. It was amazing to get our members involved and help them in a more hands-on way.&nbsp;We had a brilliant day, and can't wait until the next one!&nbsp;

WCAVA used our meeting room to host their management meeting. The team brainstormed bundles of brilliant ideas to help local Good Causes thrive, and improve the local community. 1 Mill Street &amp; Make Good Grow have a longstanding relationship with CAVA, and we love welcoming them into our venue whenever possible.&nbsp;

We supported Ashorne Hill, a longstanding partner of 1 Mill Street and Make Good Grow, by hosting the team in our first floor meeting room. This allowed the team to get out of their workplace, and brainstorm brilliant new ideas in an exciting new venue.&nbsp;

1 Mill Street donated two chairs from our coffeehouse to Helping Hands venue on Althorpe Street. The chairs would've gone into storage, but the 1MS team decided to donate it to a Good Cause instead. These chairs will be used in their Esther House, where vulnerable women are re-homed and rehabilitated, making it more homely and comfortable for the Esther ladies.&nbsp;

1 Mill Street hosted Evergreen School's teachers and students for their 'Discovering Autism in the Workplace' event in our Urban Garden. This was an incredible opportunity to hear about what autistic people can offer in the workplace, and how currently undervalued they are. We got to hear from two of our student workers - Caelainn and Nathan, about what their experiences have been like while working in our coffeehouse, and what a week at Evergreen looks like for them. 30 of our members attended to hear about autism and the workplace from their expert teachers, and left feeling inspired.&nbsp;

Mill Street's very own 'Usain Bolt's took to Leamington's Regency 10K in support of Molly Olly's wishes, a local charity dedicated to helping bereaved families. Our team smashed it, we even won fastest corporate team!

ThinkActive used our Make Good Grow Passion Wagon to collect unused sportswear as part of their Wear and Share campaign.&nbsp;ThinkActive set up bins around a variety of local businesses and leisure centres, so people could recycle their unused sportswear for others to wear. The campaign was a huge success and we were delighted to offer our van, free of charge!&nbsp;

Anya Brown, 1 Mill Street member and Telecoms Recruiter at EH20 Group, donated her hair to The Little Princess Trust.&nbsp;The Little Princess Trust not only create wigs for children and young people going through hair loss as a result of cancer and other illnesses, but also fund cancer research for children.&nbsp;

Stratford Youth Collective are a new organisation of youth related charities in Stratford Upon Avon, with ambitious plans to transform support for young people in their area.Individually, they have been doing great things as - Escape arts - Warwickshire Pride -iLeap -New Horizons -Lifespace Trust&nbsp; And, were looking for someone who could help to win the significant funding needed to turn their aspirations into a reality.&nbsp; Olivia Parrish, founder of Leap People, spent time with SYC over a couple of days to facilitate this. Olivia was blown away by the passion for this project and the expertise that this group brought to what is a complex challenge.&nbsp;

Warwickshire Good Cause, Circles Network, requested monitors for their team through Make Good Grow. We knew that GoodForm had 3 unused monitors they were looking to donate, as they were moving premises and no longer had room for them.&nbsp;GoodForm dropped these monitors to our premises at 1 Mill Street, where we were able to hand them over to Carrie from Circles Network.

Good Form, 1 Mill Street members, were moving out of their former premises. They wanted to donate their desks and chairs to a Good Cause in need of furniture.&nbsp;Through Make Good Grow, Good Form kindly gifted their desks and chairs to New Meaning Learning in Stratford.&nbsp;The Make Good Grow team used the Passion Wagon to transport the furniture to New Meaning's facilities.&nbsp;

1 Mill Street hosted the Heart of England Community Foundation in our ground floor meeting room for the full day. This allowed their largely remote team to meet and use our facilities, coming together for a day of brainstorming and coming up with new ways to support local Good Causes!

In support of World Cancer Day 2023, members of the 1MS and MGG team ran the Leamington Spa 5K Parkrun. This is a worldwide campaign, made to raise awareness and close the care gap.

1 Mill Street hosted Kissing It Better's charity fundraiser, with drinks downstairs in the Urban Garden and the free private rental of our upstairs Alchemy Space.&nbsp;

We hosted Flourish' away day in our ground floor meeting room, with access to free beverages and tech.&nbsp;

We regularly offer our downstairs meeting room to host a support group for Dads / Carers of disabled children on a Friday evening.&nbsp;

We were absolutely delighted to host the Lily Mae Foundation for their 10 year anniversary event.&nbsp;We offered the use of our upstairs coworking, or 'Alchemy' space to host their event, and staffed the bar to serve drinks.&nbsp;

Flourish are a Leamington based charity, with offices just down the road, but they needed a neutral space to get the whole team together, do some induction and on-boarding work with new starters and plan the next few months of work. Our meeting room was the perfect space for them.&nbsp;
